Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Cancellations

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations received with more than 48 hours' notice will be fully refunded. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, your deposit will be retained as a late cancellation charge. To cancel, please do so via Fresha or email us at info@muhwa.co.uk.

Rescheduling

We understand plans change. Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of your appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and the deposit will not be carried over.

Deposits

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit is deducted from your total treatment cost on the day. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment. If Muhwa cancels your appointment, your deposit will be refunded in full.

No-shows

Failure to attend your appointment without any prior notice is classed as a no-show. No refund will be issued for no-shows, including any deposit paid. We reserve the right to charge the full treatment fee for repeated no-shows. If an emergency prevents you from attending, please get in touch as soon as you can — we will always try to be understanding.

Late arrivals

We ask that you arrive on time to enjoy the full benefit of your treatment. If you are running late, please let us know. Depending on the delay, your treatment may need to be shortened, though the full price will still apply. Arrivals more than 15 minutes past the appointment time may be treated as a no-show.

Cancellation by Muhwa

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or the option to reschedule at a time convenient to you.

Your statutory rights

This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Under these regulations, you may have a right to cancel a contract made at a distance within 14 days. However, once a treatment service has been performed with your prior express consent, the right to cancel no longer applies.
